Materials needed for a 20 in. (51 cm) necklace:

-8 cabochons, various sizes
-round white pearls, 2–7 mm
-size 15 seed beads, 4 colors
-1 hook clasp
-chain, 2 sizes
-22-gauge wire, head pin, jump rings
-leather or Ultrasuede
-beading foundation or felt
-transparent monofilament line, 2 lb. test
-Fireline, 6 lb. test
-beading needles, size 11
-2 pairs of chainnose, bentnose, or flatnose pliers
